Competence

Performance Support

​

KSB Management maintains a record of the level of skill and competence of all staff in regards to the performance of work. Performance lacking

individuals will be assigned to a Supervisor to guide and train the necessary procedures to comply with the level of standard practiced by KSB Management

 

Competence

​

The minimum performance level will be as those set out in the Australian Contract Cleaners Association Certificate level of competence.

​

Staff & Onsite Supervision


At KSB Management, Cleaners are supported by a full time Supervisor who work during cleaning hours supporting the cleaning team.

​​

Security Check


Everyone employed by KSB Management must pass a security check. It is only when successful, further training on our methods and procedures is given before being placed into a cleaning team. Any security incidences arising from any work performed by KSB Management is to be made aware to the Operations Manager. Immediate action will be taken to bring a resolution to the problem.

Training


KSB Management has its own company-training program in place for some 4 years now which complies with the Training Guarantee Act 1990.

All cleaners are trained to a standard set by the Australian Building Services
Association Certificate level and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Protocol. Supervisory staff and management staff all participate in Workcover OH&S training.

KSB Management recognizes that the business in the procurement of cleaning services has some impacts on the surrounding environment and human health. To reduce these negative impacts we are committed to continually improving our management through the implementation of our environmental management system.

 

The following aspects have been identified and procedures have been put in place

Waste – segregation and recycling to cooperate with waste treatment processes
 

Energy – minimum use complying with the department’s energy efficiency program
 

Environmental Purchasing – environmentally friendly cleaning products with reduced toxicity and imp roved biodegradability
 

Paper usage – recycling of packaging and paper
 

Chemical usage & Handling – Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and incident/accident reporting (KSB Management WH&S)
 

Dust – control of dust generation
 

Emissions


Environmental Accidents – control of spillages
